JORDYN MAHAR

HEAD DIRECTOR

Jordyn Mahar is the Head Director of Theatre Arts at First Colony Middle School. They earned degrees from the College of the Mainland and Tarleton State University. Outside of teaching, they enjoy theatre projects, traveling, and spending time with family, including their three beloved dogs and supportive spouse. They are excited for the year ahead and look forward to fostering artistic growth in their students.​

AMADO VELASCO

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Amado Velasco is the Assistant Director of Theatre Arts at First Colony Middle School. They earned their degrees from Lone Star College and Stephen F. Austin State University. Before coming to First Colony they worked as a theatre educator in Spring Branch ISD and Alief ISD. Outside of teaching, they enjoy spending time with their friends and family and writing plays. ​
